Also very interest project. The main goal of it: find the words and phrases inside the PDF document by (x,y)-coordinates, and place them into the data table using special patterns.

I made 2 applications: universal and fast application on C# (included RTF, PDF, XLS and simple IMG/OCR block), and PDF/RTF only in VBA/MS Access 2002. Both applications work with the same data and use the same patterns.
